現階段正在進行着的動作，不一定指説話時正在進行着的動作。常和at present（目前），this week（本週），these days（這幾天）等時間狀語連用，具體的用法結合句子來理解，先來看例句
1、We're looking for a house to rent for the summer.
我們在找一棟房子想租一個夏天。
2、Are you trying to find a furnished house?
你是想找一棟有傢俱的房子嗎?
3、What courses are you studying this term?
你這學期學哪幾門課?
4、Don't take that ladder away. Your father's using it.
別把梯子拿走，你父親在用。（即不一定現在用）
