看句子而定。
如果句子中的people是民族的意思，那么some people的意思是某个民族，应该用is如果句子中的people是人们的意思，则some people意思为一些时，谓语动词用are.
加单数复数的区别
people含义是“人民(群众)，民族”，谓语动词多用单数形式，后面加is。

people后不接动词单三形式，要接复数。people的基本意思是“人，人们”，是集体名词，没有复数形式，在句中作主语时，谓语动词用复数。
